What Family First Water includes
During the complimentary visit, we use on-site screening to discuss chlorine, visible sediment or clarity, and the specific parameters supported by the test equipment used at your home. We also talk about your water and installation needs. Allow about 30 minutes and choose a time when all homeowners or decision-makers can be present.
Ask what is being measured
- Chlorine: ask whether the method measures free chlorine, total chlorine, or both, and what the result means for your utility’s disinfectant.
- Sediment and clarity: discuss visible particles, clarity, and the screening method. A visible result does not name every substance in the water.
- Other measurements: ask which parameter the equipment measures, its units, and its limits before drawing a conclusion.
What the visit does not establish
The in-home visit is not a certified laboratory analysis and cannot establish whether lead, PFAS, arsenic, bacteria, or another specific contaminant is present. A color change, a photo, or a dissolved-solids number alone cannot identify a particular contaminant. A specific concern may require testing by a certified laboratory.
What happens next?
We explain the findings, review your concerns and your supplier’s report, and discuss options. If a system interests you, review the installed quote, maintenance, and written warranty terms before deciding. There is no obligation to purchase.
