A LITTLE CLARITY

Good questions.
Honest answers.

Water testing, systems, installation, and everything that comes after.

What is included in the complimentary water test?

During the complimentary visit, we use on-site screening to discuss chlorine, visible sediment or clarity, and the specific parameters supported by the test equipment used at your home. We explain the findings and the limits of the screening — no obligation and no cost to you. The visit is not a certified laboratory analysis and cannot establish whether a specific contaminant is present. A specific concern may require testing by a certified laboratory.

How long does the appointment take?

Most appointments take approximately 30 minutes. That includes the water analysis, a review of your results, and a conversation about what options — if any — make sense for your home. There is no pressure to purchase anything.

What does the standard in-home test measure?

The complimentary visit uses on-site screening to discuss chlorine, visible sediment or clarity, and the specific parameters supported by the equipment used at your home. It is not a certified laboratory analysis and cannot establish whether lead, PFAS, arsenic, bacteria, or another specific contaminant is present. A specific concern may require testing by a certified laboratory.

What is the difference between a water filtration system and a water softener?

Filtration and softening do different jobs. The whole-home filtration tank uses carbon media, while the softening tank uses ion exchange to address hardness minerals that contribute to scale and spotting. Family First Water combines both stages in the Legacy Premier + Dual-Tank Whole-Home Filtration System.

Do you offer a reverse osmosis drinking water system?

Yes. Every Family First Water installation includes Legacy RO, our under-sink reverse osmosis drinking-water system, and a dedicated faucet alongside whole-home filtration and softening. Legacy RO includes an alkaline remineralization stage.

What does the installation process look like?

Our systems are professionally installed by a licensed installer. After your water test and system selection, we schedule a convenient installation appointment. The installer sets up the system at your main water line (whole-home system) or under your kitchen sink (RO system), tests the installation, and walks you through how everything works before leaving. Most whole-home installations are completed in a few hours.

What warranty coverage comes with the systems?

The whole-home filtration system comes with a 10-year limited warranty. Legacy RO comes with a 5-year limited warranty.

Is financing available?

Yes. We offer flexible financing options through Enhancify to help fit a system into your budget. Ask your specialist about available plans during your appointment, or visit our Finance Portal at enhancify.com/familyfirstwater to explore options before your visit.

What maintenance does the system require?

Check the brine-tank salt level regularly and add salt when needed. Legacy RO cartridges, the membrane, and whole-home media should be serviced on the schedule for your installed model. Your installer will explain the maintenance and replacement intervals for your system.
